"Paint Your Art Out!" - Siren Nation
“Paint Your Art Out” promises to be an exciting and unique summer event featuring: live painting exhibitions by four local street-influenced artists, a silent auction featuring local and national fine artists, music, and performance art.

The evening will begin at 7pm with drinks and food provided by the good people at Plan B. The live art exhibition will begin shortly there after, and will be a colorful display of art that is most often not seen being created during daylight. A silent auction will be open for bidding until 10pm, when the art work will be awarded to the highest bidder.

Dinosaur Revolution - Portland Children's Museum
Kids and adults get to “Be a Dinosaur” as they journey through the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, and later discover evidence of dinosaur doings in the present-time as Junior Paleontologists!

Dinosaurs: China’s Ancient Giants - OMSI
Travel back in time 200 million years and witness China’s most spectacular ancient inhabitants in the largest collection of authentic Chinese fossils ever toured. Terra Cotta Portland - Architectural Heritage Center
Portland’s architectural riches include a grand collection of more than 40 buildings clad in glazed terra cotta. They range from the 1907 Wells Fargo Building at SW Sixth & Oak (Portland’s first “skyscraper” and first terra cotta building) to the last – the Charles F. Berg Building at SW Broadway near Morrison.

Many of these buildings stand throughout the retail heart of downtown Portland, from Oak to Yamhill Streets, and SW Fourth to SW Tenth Avenues, a virtual “terra cotta district” deserving of expert maintenance and preservation.

The Portland Japanese Garden presents: Behind the Shoji - Japanese Garden

Top Down Film Festival presents "Willie Dynamite" - Northwest Film Center

Portland Corn MAiZE - The Corn MAiZE
The MAiZE "Twists and Turns" into Ten Years in Bridgetown.

What began back in 1999 as a great and "weird" Portland idea has grown into a Portland tradition. The MAiZE, a giant puzzle carved into a towering cornfield, has become a classic fall event for tens of thousands of visitors craving adventure and laughter and to connect with life on a family farm.
Portlander Craig Easterly, creator of the annual giant-sized maze at The Pumpkin Patch, created a design this year that celebrates Portland and its beautiful cityscape and surroundings. The "Bridgetown MAiZE" at The Pumpkin Patch features the city's bridges, rivers, mountains and outdoor spirit. Easterly promises that crossing the newly built Sauvie Island Bridge, and finding The Pumpkin Patch, is the easy part. Finding your way out of the 5-acre labyrinth will be both a physical and mental challenge for kids of all ages to enjoy.

Chili on the Green Festival - City of Fairview
The City of Fairview’s Chili on the Green Festival is district cook-off sanctioned by the International Chili Society (ICS). Successful chiliheads competing at Chili on the Green will advance to the 2008 ICS World’s Championship Chili Cookoff in the fall to win cash prizes. The event promises smoking hot musical performances and entertainment by Radio Disney, The Touchables, DJ Scott Tom, and much more. Chili on the Green is a fun family affair featuring the Chili Pepper Kids Park & Carnival for children of all ages and Bumper’s Beer & Wine Garden for adults.

The Oregon Zoo Presents; Frogs - Oregon Zoo
FROGS!, an exciting traveling exhibition, is the zoo's latest seasonal attraction. The exhibit features several frog species, including the White's tree frog, Vietnamese mossy frog, fire belly toad and poison dart frog among others. Tadpole Tales Story Time, fun-filled educational activities and a kiosk that emits frog sounds are just a few of the exhibit's many highlights.

The Wooden Nickel Summer Concert Series has unveiled an all-new lineup of great entertainers to perform amid The Oregon Garden’s grassy-sloped Teufel Amphitheater and 200-year-old oaks. Bring blankets or sand chairs and enjoy refreshments via concessionaires. Eleventh Annual William Byrd Festival - Cantores in Ecclesia
Dr. Richard Marlow of Trinity College, Cambridge, England will return to Portland to conduct Cantores in Ecclesia in a festival of choral masterpieces by the greatest composer of the English Renaissance, William Byrd (1540–1623). The festival will feature five liturgical services, three concerts and five public lectures.
